Hi, I'm Marcelo Vianna
I’m a Level Designer with a passion for crafting immersive gameplay and unforgettable experiences. Currently working at Hermit Crab Studio, I’ve contributed to projects like Surrealisbon and Hide and Seek: Rio Heights, utilizing tools like Unreal Engine and The Sandbox’s Game Maker to bring complex, surreal worlds to life.
My journey began with a love for games that sparked an endless curiosity about how they’re made. From experimenting with RPG Maker and custom Warcraft 3 maps as a kid to leading indie projects with Nebula, I’ve always thrived on exploring the boundaries of game design.
Along the way, I’ve achieved accolades like winning 1st place at the Hackathon Semp TCL and securing 2nd at Game Jam Plus 2019.

When I’m not designing levels, I’m diving into tabletop RPGs, painting miniatures, or immersing myself in surreal comics and music. I believe in constantly learning, whether through my ongoing CGMA Level Design course or deconstructing the games that inspire me.
