This assignment focused on Scale, challenging us to design a level with a drastically different sense of proportion.
Inspired by the Toy Story 2 game on PS1, I went for a tiny robot navigating a vast apartment, collecting orbs and exploring its open layout.
Creating this space was an absolute blast. Transforming familiar rooms into a huge platformer encouraged players to rediscover everyday settings from a fresh perspective. For me as a designer, it was exciting to reimagine mundane spaces and think, “What would make a fun platforming?”.

Quickly, I found myself imagining how a small robot would navigate my own house, pondering how it might get from a table to a shelf, weaving between books, LPs, and plant vases.
