The CGMA Level Design Course is a course in Unreal Engine 5 that runs from October 1st to December 10th 2024.
My personal goals for this course are to deepen my knowledge of level design, strengthen my fundamentals, connect with other designers, and make the most of Rob Colonico’s mentorship. I’m also looking to create engaging pieces for my portfolio and share my work on LinkedIn for #Blocktober.
In addition to attending classes, I complete weekly blockouts with specific themes, briefs, and design goals. Each blockout is crafted in a single week, taking approximately 20-30 hours to complete.
The Course Mentor is Rob Colonico, He holds an Advanced Diploma in Game Development from Niagara College. With five years of experience at Ubisoft Toronto, Rob worked on notable titles such as Starlink: Battle for Atlas and its title update Crimson Moon, Far Cry 6, and the upcoming Splinter Cell remake. He is currently creating a new IP at UNSEEN, the studio led by Ikumi Nakamura.
